Vintage Super Tach With Cup Sst-802 8,000 Rpm 8 Cyl 12 Volt No Sender Required on 2040-parts.com
Santa Cruz, California, US
This is a vintage Sun Super Tach complete with chrome cup and mounting bracket. The model number is SST-802. This is a very nice period correct tach for the 50's-60's. The coolest part about this tach is there is no sending unit required. That's right, this is a direct connect tachometer for 8 cylinder, 12 volt applications. All you need is 12 volt power, ground, and one wire to the negative side of the coil.
This tach is in very good original condition as shown. The face is excellent with no damage or fading. The lens is real glass with no cracks or scratches and some debris on the inside as shown. The front bezel ans mounting cup are nice with shiny original chrome that has some light freckling as shown . The bracket is the curved steering column mount type. If you need the flat dash style I would be happy to swap it out free of charge, just send me a request if you want the swap. This is simply a very nice vintage tach.
This unit has been tested and is in excellent working condition. There is a video of the test below. To watch the video, simply click on the play button in the picture below and the video will play right here on the auction screen.
This is your chance to own the tachometer you have been dreaming of for your special car or collection as a great price! Don't Miss Out!

We all know that headline fuel consumptions can be misleading, but was this new ‘Eco’ Fiesta really all that economical? We’d had numerous emails and comments after that first drive, all saying basically the same thing: Yes, it headlines at 76mpg, but what will it do in the real world?
