Viper Responder LC3 (Model 5704V)2-way car security and remote start systemA comprehensive remote start/security system
Viper's Responder LC3 (Model 5704V) 2-way security system will deter most criminal attacks against your vehicle and the property you keep inside it — you'll feel safe and secure no matter where you park. And its remote start capability makes your life a lot easier, especially in the dead of winter or the middle of the summer. Start your engine remotely
You can start your car from up to a mile away with the 5704V's remote start feature. Just push a button on the keychain remote, and your car will be warmed or cooled to your liking when you get to it. Four auxiliary channels allow you to add functions like popping open the trunk, flashing the lights, or lowering the windows. The 2-way remote's LCD confirms that your engine has started. The 5704V system is also compatible with any Viper SmartStart module, which allows you to start your car via your smartphone with no limit to the range. Important Note: Because of safety concerns, we strongly recommend professional installation for remote start systems in vehicles with manual transmissions. Add security
The system uses features like Starter Kill, which prevents hot-wiring, and a dual-stage shock sensor, which warns you if someone tries to get into your car. The system's 6-tone siren chirps an early warning in the case of an intrusion attempt, and then unleashes an ear-splitting blast if the intrusion continues, chasing away crooks and attracting attention. Whether you're shopping, dining out, or going to a show, you can be sure that your car will be exactly where you left it. Remotes that reach up to a mile away
Viper includes a control center in this security package that includes a valet switch, a bright blue LED status indicator that tells would-be thieves that there's a security system onboard, and a special RF receiver and antenna, which extend your remote's range up to a mile. The system includes two remotes: a 5-button 1-way transmitter, and a 2-way remote transceiver which gives text messages, plays confirmation and warning tones, and displays your car's security status on its LCD screen. Optional replacement remotes are available if you lose one or want a spare. Product Highlights:

Ferrari F70 takes test laps
Wed, 06 Feb 2013It's a strange world we live in when, even in my short-to-medium lifespan, we've gone from the 1980 Ferrari 308 GTSi making either 205 or 214 hp—depending on who you're asking—to the Ferrari F70, which is rumored to make 950 hp with its V12 and KERS system. I would put an Excel graph here, but just imagine a line going up at a 45-degree angle to infinity. With all of that in mind, here's about five minutes of the camouflaged supercar flying around the test track with fantastic audio of the Italian stallion in action.
