Sat, 15 Oct 2011Heavy fog for the morning qualifying runs didn't seem to dampen the spirits of competitors nor the thousands of fans attending Rennsport IV at Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca. Billed as the largest gathering of Porsche race cars and drivers, the day was filled with on-track action as well as a concours of historically significant Porsches from the past 40-plus years. Three classes of race cars competed on Saturday.

We’re expecting the S65 AMG to arrive at the Los Angeles Auto Show later in 2013, but it looks like Mercedes are readying some promotional videos for their new range-topping powerplant in the S65, with a completely undisguised car caught on video.
