This is a brand new, never installed Volvo belt driven centrifugal water pump.  I purchased it a year ago intending to use it as a circulator pump on a vintage flywheel engine project, but found that it was going to be too large for my intended use.

This part number is cast into the pump housing:
VOE 11030343

This part number is stamped on the pulley:
VOE 11127438

My research says that this pump was used on the following Volvo articulating dump trucks:
A25D
A30D
A35D
A40D

In 1962, Mercedes-Benz launched a research program to investigate the development of the Wankel rotary engine and its potential both on the road and track. While the early mule wasn't a looker, the prototype's design continued to evolve until a public unveiling of the C111-I concept, designed by Bruno Sacco, at the 1969 Frankfurt motor show.
