Peugeot EX1 EV Concept - a 'Ring-beater Peugeot has been busy celebrating its bi-centenary of late (as a company, not just a care maker) and a part of the celebrations of the anniversary was the creation of the Peugeot EX1 EV Concept we saw at the Paris Motor Show.. An EV Concept in this day and age would, you might reasonably expect, be a little less than exciting. Something to run around the centre of town in or a delivery vehicle for urban businesses, perhaps.

Lotus evolves with moving art

WITH VIDEO -- With five new concepts dotting its stand at the Paris motor show, Lotus demonstrated that it knows a bit about metamorphosis. Now, the automaker has collaborated with French artist Gerard Rancinan and writer Caroline Gaudriault for a moving art display for a VIP event in Los Angeles. Rancinan specializes in art of the human form while Gaudriault is a journalist by trade who has worked in Japan, Australia and France.

Former Bertone and Pininfarina designer, Jason Castriota, has opened his own design consultancy based in New York and Turin. CDN recently caught up with Castriota - who is currently in New York - and discovered he's already working on a series of projects, despite having not yet officially launched the company. Castriota told us that it had always been his "dream to have my own consultancy in New York", yet what's clearly pleasing him most is the volume of work he's already accrued, without officially launching the firm.
