Volvo Penta 3.0 , 4 Cylinder Starter Motor on 2040-parts.com
Bremerton, Washington, United States
Up for sale here is the electric starter motor part# 3860566 complete with rear mounting support bracket that came off of a Volvo Penta 3.0 , 4 cylinder model# GS MEFS engine. I am parting out engine because of uneven compression readings. I think the motor is a late 90's model, and was hooked up to a Volvo SX-M outdrive ( sold outdrive already ) I think it will fit other 4 cyl. GM, 3.0 motors as well, but please do your research first. This starter spins over great and still has the shiny original volvo paint on it. Thank-you for looking!

We also – courtesy of Jaguar, who had invited us for the day – got an early drive up the hillclimb-based circuit that forms part of the Moving Motor Show’s appeal for the lucky ones who got the opportunity to take the wheel of one of the impressive bunch of cars on display. And it was an impressive bunch, with everything from the Toyota Auris Hybrid to the Rolls Royce Phantom DHC via the Audi R8 and the new Jaguar XJ on offer to drive.

Troubled Nurburgring race track finds buyer
Fri, 07 Mar 2014Rex The legendary Nurburgring race track in Germany is set to be bought out by a consortium led by private investment group HIG capital, it emerged on Friday. The circuit has been burdened with enormous debts, went into administration in 2012, and has been looking for a new owner since last spring. HIG’s move will hopefully allay fears of car enthusiasts around the world, who visit the historic 13-mile track in droves to test the limits of both their car’s handling and their own skill.
