![]() ![]() Waltham Watch Co. Clock Model 12809-T.D.-12 9 Jewel 37s OD Olive Drab bezel. Hole size to mount is 3 3/8 inches. These were used in Sherman tanks, Olive Drab Bezel. They have a CDIA type Aircraft Clock Movement. Hands have been re-done using clear epoxy and glow stuff to match dial. Bezel has been re-painted using 2 part Olive Drab epoxy paint, so will last a very long time, and is hard to chip. Knob is re-painted black epoxy and lettered with white epoxy paint. Changed "crimp on bezel" to "push and turn to lock", so can be taken apart easily if it needs lubing or repair. Some installations like the tank need a channel shaped metal holder. I can make one at a charge of $15. Made of heavy steel. I only have one original. Clock was completely dis-assembled, all parts cleaned very well, re-assembled and lubed properly with 5 kinds of Moebius oils. The best! All clocks I sell are GUARANTEED to keep good time. Rare early Jaguar E-Type sells for £88,000
Mon, 28 Oct 2013ONE OF THE MOST RARE Jaguar E-Types, and one of the first to be built in the 1960s sold has at auction for more than £88,000. An anonymous British buyer from the south of England bought the iconic sports car at an auction in Ascot, Berkshire. The hammer fell at £77,000, but with a buyer's premium the final bill was £88,040, a spokesman for Coys the auctioneers said.
