It is the screw on type and features a brass insert (5/16" X 18 fine thread) It will fit all 1941- 1945 T-84 military jeep transmissions and 1946-1971 T-90 3 speed CJ transmissions. It will fit all WW II, Korean War (M-38) and M 38-A1 military jeeps. It also fits all 1946-1971 civilian jeeps CJ-2A through CJ-5. It also fits Willy's Jeep Pickup trucks 1947-1964 as well as all Jeep Cab Over Forward Control Trucks. It also fits all Willy's Jeep Station Wagons.
