This is a number matching AM push button radio for a 1967 or 68 Pontiac.Radio is in very good condition. Has been lubed and tuned. Everything works. Has great sound up and down the dial. Volume control and tuner moves freely without bind. Push buttons operate easily. The station window and numbers are in excellent condition. Dimensions are 6 1/4 between shaft centers and overall measures 8 x 5 x 3. Faceplate is 4 1/2 by 2 1/4. Chrome is excellent. I am a retired Electrical Engineer who enjoys vintage radios.All required repairs have been made. This is a very good looking and playing radio. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy the tunes! U.S. unveils blueprint to tackle driver distraction
Thu, 07 Jun 2012Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said Thursday the agency isn't looking at new regulations to address distracted driving, but rather is calling on automakers to step up voluntary efforts to combat risks with new technologies and education. LaHood, who's made distracted driving a top automotive safety priority of the Obama administration, said he's met with the CEOs of numerous automakers and feels confident "they're committed to safety." He even praised Subaru of America for a TV ad that highlighted the dangers of driver distraction. The commercial featured a father talking to his teenage daughter about the risks of using a cell phone while on the road.
