This is a 235 hp Wright R760-8 engine which is a part of Dan Murray’s estate. Dan was well known in the vintage aviation community as a meticulous craftsman and antique aircraft restorer who had begun to overhaul this engine before he was tragically killed last March. The crankshaft was checked for run out, and both it & the master/link rod assembly have been cleaned and magnaflux inspected. The carburetor, magnetos, and oil pump are overhauled. All the other parts have been solvent washed and are ready for inspection and overhaul. The engine is packaged in a wooden crate and is ready for shipment. The Ford Focus has been something of a phenomenon for Ford in the UK and has now racked up sales of 1,500,000 in the UK since it hit UK roads back in 1998.
