Kia shows off rear-drive Stinger again before Detroit auto show

Kia dropped another teaser shot of its GT4 Stinger, headed for the Detroit auto show next week. It's an overhead view, giving us a good look at the fender flares. The GT4 will house a 2.0-liter turbocharged, direct injected four-cylinder, which delivers 315 hp.

Chrysler, Nissan postpone plans to share two vehicles

Chrysler LLC and Nissan Motor Co. have postponed plans to share a North American-built small car and a full-sized pickup until they can reduce costs. A third vehicle-sharing project, in which Chrysler will sell a version of Nissan's compact Versa sedan, will continue on schedule, the companies said late Thursday.

Two widely held assumptions about 21st-century American teenagers is that they're too busy with their smartphones to have any interest in cars and that any who manage to find their way behind the wheel are too distracted to drive safely anyway.
