Yamaha 4 Stroke Jetski Towing Valve Fx140, Kawasaki, Honda Pwc Wave Runners on 2040-parts.com
Port Orange, Florida, United States
Available here is what we call a Towing Valve. These are absolutely necessary on EVERY PWC on the market today. Have you ever heard that you are not supposed to flush your PWC without the engine running? That's True, and the reason why is that the cooling water will fills up the exhaust and eventually flow back into the engine cylinders. With the engine running the exhaust blows the water out. With out the engine running your engine fills full of water. Same thing happens when you are towing your PWC in the water at speeds greater than 5 mph. The cooling water is forced into the engine which fills the exhaust and can flow back into your cylinders. I cant believe that manufactures don't install these valves from the factory. However I did hear a reason why they don't. Say for instance your out running your PWC and the engine quits under warranty, You're stranded, so you have your buddy tow you back to the boat ramp. You take your ski to the shop and say "hey my engine just quit, fix it". The dealer looks at it and the engine is clear full of water, now it's your fault. Saves the Manufactures Millions on warranty repair work. If you had a tow valve installed you could've proved the failure was not caused by water. Buy one today. Feel free to email me about the proper hose and location to install this valve on for all 4 stroke PWCs except Seadoo. Look at my other auction for 4 stroke Seadoo valve Includes, Valve suitable for fresh or saltwater use, two stainless steel hose clamps, and installation instructions This valve is for all Yamaha FX 140, Kawasaki, Honda 4 stroke engines Check out my other auction for Seadoo 4-Tec 4 stroke engines, and for 2 strokes |

Fri, 19 Aug 2011Friday marked the final prelude of the 17th annual Woodward Dream Cruise but pre-event festivities have been underway for days throughout suburban Detroit. A lights-and-sirens cruise graced the streets of Ferndale, Mich., during late afternoon, while an emergency-vehicle show ran through the evening; live DJs set up to play through the day and night in Pontiac, Mich.; a classic-car parade lit up the streets in the nearby suburb of Berkley; and classic-car displays have now claimed much of the pavement in Royal Oak. Among local car enthusiasts participating in the week-long buildup to the Woodward Dream Cruise, Kathy Lang and her husband have been set up with their 1964 Dodge Polara in the Royal Oak vicinity since Monday.
