Nissan could leave UK if Britain leaves EU
Fri, 08 Nov 2013Nissan chief executive Carlos Ghosn has warned that Nissan could leave the UK if the public vote ‘yes’ in the EU referendum promised by the Conservatives should they win the 2015 General Election. Ghosn gave the warning to the BBC while he was in London to launch the new British built Nissan Qashqai. New 2014 Nissan Qashqai revealed in pictures UK to become second biggest car maker in EU “If anything has to change, we [would] need to reconsider our strategy and our investments for the future,” he told a reporter.
Citroen DS 6WR (2014) first official pictures
Tue, 15 Apr 2014By Damion Smy First Official Pictures 15 April 2014 07:00 The Citroen DS 6WR may have a clumsy name, but it’s the new premium SUV for the maker’s DS range and is crucial to the ‘Back in the Race’ plan announced by new PSA chairman, Carlos Tavares. Part of the plan sees a stepping-up ‘DS’ as a premium sub-brand for Citroen, and that’s why the 6WR takes styling cues from the Wild Rubis concept of 2013.
Fiat 500L launches
Wed, 04 Jul 2012The Fiat 500L – a larger Fiat 500 based on the Punto – has launched in Italy ahead of going on sale in the UK in early 2013. We had the official arrival of the Fiat 500L at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and now we get the 500L’s official launch in Turin – together with lots of new photos and a video – before the 500L goes on sale around the world. The 500L is actually based on the underpinnings of the Punto to create a 500 MPV and, sensibly, Fiat has done with the 500L what MINI did with the Countryman and slapped an iconic badge on even though the 500L bears scant resemblance to its cute little sibling.
