This part is an original GM accessory part. The part number is 12499201, it is a new part without the box and comes with the attaching

bolts and instructions. The part comes in primer and will have to  be painted.  It also has a few slight surface scratches on it from being in stock.

2011 Chevrolet Camaro discovers more power--now it has 312 hp

Chevrolet has found an additional 8 hp for V6 versions of the 2011 Camaro, power that likely has been there all along. The direct-injection 3.6-liter engine with VVT is now rated at 312 hp, up from last year’s 304 hp. Chevy didn’t actually do anything to the engine.

U.S. auto sales led by Chrysler Group surged 16 percent in February, giving the industry its strongest showing in four years in a fresh sign that the recovery is gaining more traction. Total light vehicle sales rose to 1.15 million units as the seasonally adjusted sales annual rate hit 15.1 million.
