Purchases are insured against lost, and a registered number is provided which can be used to track the package’s progress on usps.com. It is not cheap, so I would combine purchases with friends and split the cost. Charges for this service are; $13.00 charge for using registered mail (tracking & insurance), a $2.00 charge for the first item for a total of $15.00, then $1.50 for each additional item. I must hand deliver these items to the post office, then stand in line to fill out 2 different forms, 1 for registered mail and 1 for customs, then pay for the postage. Wiedeking to be offered $140 million to quit Porsche, report says
Fri, 17 Jul 2009Porsche CEO Wendelin Wiedeking could be offered a $141 million (100 million euros) payoff to quit the sports car maker to make way for a merger with Volkswagen, Germany's Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper reported Friday. The newspaper said Wiedeking has been visited by Porsche Chairman Wolfgang Porsche in the past few days, who “made it clear” that the embattled CEO should step down. Wiedeking has come under fire for allowing Porsche's holding company to amass debts of more than $12.7 billion (9 billion euros) during a failed attempt to take over VW.
