Nice brand new wheel and tire! No box, and out of packaging. See pics and description.
Rim Material:Aluminum Tire Brand:Firestone Rim Brand:Western Wheel

You are bidding on a spare knock-off wheel and Firestone whitewall tire, a pefect spare to your knock-off equipped midyear Corvette. The wheel is in excellent condition, especially for a 25-30 year old piece. It is one of the early/old reproduction "Western Wheel" brand wheels. Looking at the front hub area, it's quite evident that the wheel has never been on a car. The Firestone tire measures 6.70 x 15 and it still has all the nubs and inking on the tread.

I have had this in my private dry/heated inventory for a number of years and had been holding on to it for that one special car, but never ended up using it. If you have exceptionally nice NCRS Corvette, or you are doing a high quality restoration, here's a complete wheel and tire ready for the spare tire tub of your car! We all know how many cars are out there running around with a mismatched wheel/tire in the tub as people often "cheap out" on the fifth wheel due to cost. It is mounted, balanced, and ready to install! The tire is wet in these pictures from me washing it right before the pictures were taken, as an fyi.

Due to size, and weight, shipping is $85.00 within the 48 US states. Payment is due within 48 hours of the close of the auction. Thanks for looking and email with any questions.

The five-car, five-year plan for Lotus developed under Dany Bahar is dead, according to an Autocar report. But rumor has it that the sexy Esprit concept could be revived at a low cost. Tan Sri Mohd Khamil Jamil, managing director of the company that owns Lotus parent company Proton, DRB, confirmed that the company sold 70 cars in the U.K.

Chrysler, CAW reach tentative contract deal

Fri, 24 Apr 2009

The Canadian Auto Workers tentatively agreed tonight to new concessions that will save the struggling automaker $240 million annually and help the carmaker to try to avoid a bankruptcy filing, CAW President Ken Lewenza said at a news conference. In exchange, the CAW got Chrysler and potential partner Fiat SpA to agree to keep its two Chrysler assembly plants open even if bankruptcy is unavoidable, Lewenza said. General Motors and Ford Motor Co., which signed new CAW agreements earlier, have indicated their desire to get the same concessions as those negotiated with Chrysler, Lewenza said.

(Another) Audi A3 e-tron hybrid at Geneva 2013

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

The Audi A3 e-tron – a hybrid A3 EV based on the A3 Sportback – will debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show as a concept. This Audi A3 e-tron isn’t a pointless electric supercar – like the R8 e-tron – or another rollout of the A3 e-tron BEV, but a hybrid A3 with a proper ICE engine coupled to an electric motor, just like the A3 e-tron concept we saw in Shanghai in 2011 That still means a lot of complicated and heavy technology to game the silly official economy tests and come up with ‘official’ economy figures of 158mpg and 35g/km, but the A3 e-tron would – if it were made – offer big tax breaks for company car drivers. The A3 e-tron gets a 1.4 litre direct injection petrol engine good for 148bhp working with an electric motor good for an extra 100bhp.
