Mercedes at 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed: Historic racers, AMG & lots more
Wed, 14 Mar 2012Mercedes at 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed Mercedes plan to put on a show at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed with historic F1 cars, AMG, historic cars and much more. The 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed is now only a little over three months away, and car makers are starting to reveal what plans they have for what is quite possibly the best pertrolhead experience in the world. Mercedes are offering a cornucopia of delights for the 2012 FoS and are taking the opportunity to bring along their latest offerings as well as plenty of stuff from their back catalogue, and the two collide in the 2012 Mercedes SL as Mercedes celebrate 60 years since the W194 300 SL and 75 years since the 1937 W125 Tripoli Grand Prix car.
Lexus LF-Xh concept (2007): first official pictures
Thu, 11 Oct 2007By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 11 October 2007 09:50 Lexus LF-Xh Concept: the lowdown Lexus will show off its latest wares on home territory at this month's 40th Tokyo Motor Show - and the big news is a preview of the next-generation RX soft-roader. The LF-Xh is longer and wider than today's car, but a full 40mm lower - suggesting the Japanese are taking cars like the forthcoming half 4x4, half coupe BMW X6 very seriously. Naturally, the next RX will build upon today's RX400h hybrid.
Jaguar offers all-wheel drive - but not for UK
Thu, 16 Aug 2012Jaguar has confirmed four-wheel-drive models will join its range once again, for the first time since the AWD X-type was killed off back in 2009. The first 4wd Jaguars will be the XJ and XF ranges. They'll be petrol-powered only, and just in saloon form for now, but don't get too excited if you're a UK customer: Jaguar has no plans to bring the all-paw big cats over here any time soon.
