This auction is for a set of four of the original GM muffler hanger bolts with special washers( 2 per side for dual exhaust cars) that mount to directly to the frame. Photos just shows one side front and back, but I do have the same exact pair to match for the other side. They are impossible to find when building a 100 point car since the thickness of the washer is unique. Most of the times, these were thrown away by the muffler shop when the car had its exhaust changed, which most cars did. This is an Scottsdale Arizona original old ladies 1969 Malibu 4 door that has damage on the passenger side.  I can combine shipping if you find something that will fit with this in a small flat rate box, have many smaller parts in my other auctions this week.

-- The gents over at Chromjuwelen compiled a list of their favorite car builds of 2013. Number 10 starts off with a BMW 525i station wagon from the 1990s that's received an LSX V8 engine swap, just to give you some idea what kinds of "builds" Chromjuwelen is talking about. -- If you've seen the 1975-1979 Chevrolet Monza V8, you can bravely click on this link to read its fascinating (in a not-particularly good way) story.

COMMUTING times are starting to creep up after falling back during the recession, a new study has shown. Research by the TUC union revealed that men in their early 40s spend longest getting to and from work, at an average of more than 67 minutes a day. Commute times for women peak in their late 20s at 54 minutes and then start to fall as they get older, said the report.
