Here are a pair of the transmission crossmember mounts for the frame used on most of the GM A body cars, not Chevelle or El Camino for sure. Not sure about the rest, check before buying. These are solid, not bent and all holes are proper, I have 3 pairs of these all in the same shape as shown, with light surface rust from sitting around.  I can combine shipping if you find something else that will fit with these in a small flat rate box in my current auctions.

Japan Car: Designs for a Crowded Globe

Thu, 04 Dec 2008

The Science Museum in London, UK is hosting the Japan Car: Designs for the Crowed Globe exhibition, sponsored by seven Japanese automobile manufacturers. An exploration of the car as a 'mobile cell', the exhibition has been conceived by graphic designer Kenya Hara and architect Shigeru Ban to show how Japanese design reflects the 'soil and spirit' of Japan, depicted by concept cars and models specific to the Japanese market. Speaking to Car Design News, Shigeru Ban explained how the automobile was chosen as the central element to the exhibition because it is a reflection of Japanese culture and tradition.

The Touareg is the first VW group car to get a proper Hybrid, but it will soon find its way in to more cars, most notably the Porsche Panamera and the Porsche Cayenne, both of which we are promised Hybrids for. VW Touareg BlueMotion Hybrid - Lower emissions, lower fuel consumption and more power. Lovely!

Vauxhall / Opel can’t sell to the U.S.

Wed, 03 Jun 2009

Vauxhall Insignia VXR Sports Tourer won't go on sale in the US Probably the most significant thing so far is that Opel and Vauxhall will not be allowed to sell cars in the US, or indeed in to China. Which does cut out a lot of potential, if not exactly a lot of current, sales possibilities. It makes sense for GM to have made this clause in the sale agreement, but it will hurt the new Magna owned group in the long run.
