Sun, 17 May 2009Lexus has launched a range of F-Sport accessories for the new Lexus IS Convertible With the Lexus IS Convertible having launched in Japan this week, and the Lexus IS 250C arriving in the UK in July (and the Lexus IS 350C to arrive sometime next year), Lexus are looking for ways to ‘Up-sell’ the range, particularly as it looks like it will totally eclipse the woeful SC430. With prices starting from low £30k, there is no doubt a big push to get people to spec up their cars. But now we’ve got some more pictures, even though they are not official Audi releases (excuse the less than normal quality). It’s essentially a two-door version of the S63 AMG saloon, marrying the new S-class coupe body's with the twin-turbocharged, 577bhp engine of the fastest AMGs. Mercedes claims the new S63 AMG is 65kg lighter than the outgoing CL63 AMG, mainly thanks to a new lithium-ion battery for the car’s ancillary systems.
