up for auction is a mint 2006 gsxr1000 complete starter drive rebuild kit from a motor with only 1306 miles. motor was swapped out for a built turbo drag motor making 312 hp.. this was the original motor from that gruge bike! its been sitting in the back of the shop since. I took pics as it was dissembled so you can see the uncleand cond of these parts! pics say 1000 words! everything is in great low mile cond as expected!..

Mon, 06 Jul 2009The new Alfa Romeo Milano - snapped on a mobile 'phone and posted on Facebook And that’s the case with this picture of the new Alfa Romeo Milano, which has surfaced on the Interweb (on Facebook – I wonder if it was taken by the wife of the head of MI6?!) and lets you see just what the new Alfa Romeo Milano will look like. Obviously taken on a ‘phone, the quality isn’t great, but there’s more than enough detail to see what the car will offer. Taking design cues from the Alfa Romeo 8C (which did the Goodwood Hillclimb at the weekend), the Milano is more than a little reminiscent of the cracking Alfa super mini – the Alfa Romeo MiTo.

The body has been designed to look like a singular smooth shape, so the glass appears to merge seamlessly with the body panels. Renault also claims the Ondelios's shape enhances the car’s other raison-d’etre: streamlined efficiency (and hence eco-friendliness). Those huge 23-inch aluminium alloys are designed to prevent turbulence and the car has been engineered to be a slippery as possible, boasting a drag coefficient of 0.29Cd.
Concils 'confident' over winter salt stockpiles
Mon, 11 Nov 2013COUNCILS are confident they can cope with bad-weather conditions on the roads this winter. A survey shows that local authorities in England and Wales have stockpiled more salt for this winter than last. A total of 1.3 million tonnes was stockpiled for winter 2012/13 and the Local Government Association (LGA) shows that 95% of councils are either maintaining or increasing stock levels this winter.
