194 230 250 292 Chevrolet Six cylinder, CNC machined, Aluminum Valve cover spacer.

Unfortunately the Chevrolet Inline six stock and aftermarket valve covers are widest at the bottom right where don't need it to be. With the addition of high performance valve train components such as large diameter retainers, wide body full roller rocker arms, stud girdle, tall spring install height for big lift Cam Shafts.

Many of these upgrades have created a valve cover clearance challenge. One way we have found to navigate this clearance issue is to raise the valve cover up 1/2 of an inch.

This spacer is computer designed, and CNC machined from a slab of billet 6061-T6 aluminum plate. It was selected to create a perfectly straight, SHOW QUALITY, ready to install spacer to be used under any brand valve cover, on any cast iron GM non-integrated head.

The photos show the aluminum slab prior to machining and a look at a spacer mockup for a complete and detailed visual.

The head and valve cover are not included with this spacer, They are only in the photo to show complete function.

The slab of 6061-T6 aluminum plate cost over $50.00 prior to all the CNC CUSTOM  machine work !

Porsche chief Wendelin Wiedeking resigns

Thu, 23 Jul 2009

Porsche chairman Wendelin Wiedeking has bowed to mounting pressure in announcing that he will step down immediately. The resignation came Thursday, following a surprise meeting of the company's supervisory board at its Weissach R&D headquarters outside of Stuttgart, Germany, on Wednesday night. Wiedeking's announcement comes after months of tense and public infighting following Porsche's failed attempt to wrest control of Volkswagen, which left it with $12.7 billion in debt, and slowing sales in key markets such as North America.

Opel Adam going rallying

Wed, 21 Nov 2012

Opel is adding a bit of rally credibility to the new Adam by taking it rallying with an Adam R2 rally car for a one-make cup. But perhaps GM Europe are hoping to inject a bit of performance credibility in to the uninspiring mechanical offerings the Adam currently offers with the revelation that they’re making a rally Adam prepared to basic R2 spec, which means a tweak or three from the standard production car. That means upgrades to the engine, suspension, brakes and gearbox to produce an Adam rally car that’s an affordable entry point for young drivers and Opel are aiming to compete in the ADAC Opel Rally cup with the Adam R2.

The future of Volvo

"We lost our way," admitted Volvo North America CEO Tony Nicolosi in his New Jersey-honed Italianate accent. Never an easy thing for an executive to confess. "We gotta go back to our roots.
