1952 1953 1954 Ford Mercury Lincoln Vintage Ford, Mercury Remote Outside Mirror on 2040-parts.com
Tinley Park, Illinois, US
Here is what I am told is a vintage remote outside mirror for the 1952-1954 Ford, but may fit the Mercury and Lincoln, not sure. It is used but is in nice condition. The chrome shines nicely and has some minor small pit marks that are barely noticeable, also some minor scratehes. The mirror is fine, no cracks or fade, a couple very minor scratches. There is a small crease on the back of the mirror, not bad. The handle and mirror moves, but could use some oil or WD40 to loosen it up. I do not have any mounting hardware or gasket. All in all a nice mirror for a decent car but not for show. It looks like this mirror is for the drivers side. The only part number I can see on the inside is M581. The M may indicate Mercury? Another Ebay seller has a NOS one like this for over $330.00
Good Luck Bidding!!!!!!!!!!!!

BAC Mono: Fancy a Drive?
Fri, 08 Apr 2011RS Academy grabs the first two BAC Monos Last month we reported on a new single-seat road car that offers more thrills than a garage full of hypercars for less than the cost of an M5 – the BAC Mono. The brothers Briggs - Briggs Automotive Company – have created the beautifully built, finished and specified Mono as the world’s only single-seat production car (well, the only one that’s actually made it in to production, anyway). Weighing no more than Kylie after a heavy diet, the Mono can scoot to 60mph in just 2.8 seconds before running out of steam somewhere around 170mph.

BMW i8 Spyder: Official

Yesterday we had the first leaked picture of the BMW i8 Spyder, the next stage on BMW’s eco supercar journey, and the news the open top i8 was heading for the Beijing Motor Show. So BMW has decided to jump in with the official reveal of the i8 Spyder which gives us more than a couple of photos of the i8 to look through, although not much more in the way of detail than we surmised yesterday.
