Mercedes-Benz hits 100,000 UK sales for first time
Tue, 03 Dec 2013FOR THE first time in its history Mercedes-Benz UK has sold more than 100,000 cars in a year. The milestone car, an A 180 CDI Sport bought at Mercedes-Benz of Bristol, now belongs to Jamie Leigh Arndell, who works as Transport Manager at Bristol and Avon Group. “It was a lovely surprise to pick up my new car and be told I was the company’s 100,000th customer [this year],” she said at the handover of the car.
Jaguar C-X75 adds Louis Vuitton Award to collection

Set up in 2009, the annual Louis Vuitton Classic Awards Ceremony took place in Paris on February 1st and recognizes both a classic car and a new innovation within the automotive industry. The Louis Vuitton award is the latest accolade for the C-X75, since its unveiling at the 2010 Paris motor show.
Threat to rural road maintenance
Thu, 06 Feb 2014TOTAL ROAD CLOSURES may be necessary as the extreme winter weather has left councils struggling to maintain routes, according to a local government chief. One council - Cornwall - said it was being "starved of resources" and was considering stopping maintenance of rural roads. But the Department for Transport said billions of pounds were being provided for local highways maintenance and it was the responsibility of authorities to cope with severe weather.
