1968 -72 Buick Power Trunk Release, complete with button, full wiring harness, and trunk release with solenoid.  Removed from a 70 Electra long ago, probably also Skylark and Gran Sport, most big Oldsmobiles .  Very clean and in good condition overall.  See my Ebay ad with the Olds trunk release if you want to compare.  Starting bid $60 / no reserve.  I do not know if it works (but they usually do).    thanks for looking

Brabus tunes the Mercedes-Benz SLK for more power, better handling

Mercedes-Benz tuner Brabus is going to work on the new SLK200 and SLK250 roadsters, adding some power, exterior modifications and suspension upgrades. The four-cylinder SLKs aren't for sale in the United States right now, but the SLK250 is scheduled to arrive by February 2012. Currently no kits are offered for the V6-powered SLK350.

Dassault Systèmes' latest release, CATIA for Creative Designers, is a software solution that bundles applications to help designers imagine, create, share and experience their product designs, virtually. Johnson Controls division Keiper, is using Dassault Systèmes' latest CATIA software in the design process of its new Recaro vehicle seating systems. Mathias Gischke, Head of the Style and Surfaces department at Johnson Controls' Technical Center in Kaiserslautern, says: "13 years ago we decided to use ICEM Surf, the Class-A leading software at the time.
