We are professional restorers of Corvette alum parts. We specialize in restoring alum intake manifolds. This is the correct manifold for a 1971 or 72 Corvette LT1 or Camaro Z28. It has a beautifully restored finish on it, looks like new with no paint, they should not be painted. All threads are perfect and original with no helicoils. The hold down bolt holes are not sunken down like most, perhaps only removed from the eng a couple of times. Absolutely no corrosion to the water areas. Mounting flanges are straight  and perfect. There is a pic here of a manifold we received for restoration and repair where a person tried to unscrew the old heater hose fitting, cracked a piece out of the manifold. We repair these issues as shown in the next pic. That is not the manifold for sale however. This one has a very good fitting in it. Never try to unscrew old rusty fittings or plugs as they will pull out the alum threads most of the time or those hardware store plugs will break off. We learned the hard way years ago. We now drill them out, see pics. You must have the correct equipment and know what your doing to not damage the alum threads. What is that saying, don't try this at home. We always remove the splash pan for cleaning and inspection as there is always sand, dirt or crud under it, we then reinstall it with new rivets. You will also see a pic of a manifold that the heat riser had burnt through. That could not be seen with the pan on it and if that was on your eng you would be pulling the eng down and never find why your eng is smoking and blowing oil. So never buy an intake without them doing this cleaning and inspection. We see Corvette sellers saying they won't remove the pan as it ruins the integrity of it! "C'mon man get real", this has to be done. This one is ready to install with no issues or problems. Shipping by Fedex insured and it will be packed very well. Some sellers are shipping alum manifolds for $20. We can't do that and insure it for you. You have an alum manifold that needs restoration, we can do it for you.    Call  Gary for deals or trades at 813 972-2129

Electric Cars not fit for the market say Car Industry bosses

Fri, 26 Oct 2012

Motor Industry bosses have said this week that the Electric car market is carnage and that EVs are not fit for primetime sales. We’ve made no secret of our views on electric cars: they’re simply not fit for the market. And now it seems motor industry bosses are finally standing up and saying much the same.

Range Rover Evoque Service Pack: 5 years servicing for £499

Thu, 09 May 2013

But it’s not just that buyers of new cars are keen on the idea of long warranties and fixed (or inclusive) service packs that drive car makers to offer better warranties and Service Pack deals, but that offering them keeps the new car buyer inside the dealer network with all the opportunities that potentially presents for up-selling and new car pitching. So the news that Land Rover has decided to dip its collective foot in the water of fixed cost servicing is no surprise, and the offer’s a fairly decent one – a Service Pack for the Range Rover Evoque costs just £499. For your ‘Monkey’ upfront you get all the regular servicing needs of your new Evoque done and dusted for 5 years (or 50,000 miles on the petrol Evoque and 60,000 miles on the diesel).

Google driverless car will let you speed

Tue, 02 Sep 2014

Driverless cars are so clever, aren’t they? The potential to whisk us along in total comfort and relaxation while a silicon chip takes care of the driving may sound like bliss to some. However, despite recent news that self-driving cars will be legally allowed on our roads as early as next year, they might not be as clean cut and infallible as you might think.
