Condition:New Brand:Burns Stainless Warranty:No Manufacturer Part Number:SM-400-550-12 Country/Region of Manufacture:United States Surface Finish:304 Stainless Steel

Up for auction are two (2) Burns Stainless Steel Ultra Light Race Mufflers. The inlet and outlet diameter is 4 inches, the outer case is 5.57", and the length is 12 inches. They are hand built at Burns' Costa Mesa California Factory. Burns has a reputation of fabricating and tig welding the highest quality exhaust systems worldwide. These mufflers cost $320 each and I was going to install them on my 8 second 68 Camaro; however, I sold the car and kept the mufflers. These mufflers outflow the competition and the tone is crisp. I used the 3.5" version on my 66 corvette side exhaust and they were awesome (see photo). This is a no reserve auction. Good luck bidding.

It’s the McBatmobile! McLaren X-1 debuts at Pebble Beach

Fri, 17 Aug 2012

McLaren Special Operations has delivered the McLaren X-1 to Pebble Beach, a re-bodied, one-off McLaren MP4-12C. If McLaren were looking for a way to show just how much the customisation service at Woking - McLaren Special Operations – can actually offer clients, the commission from an un-named McLaren client to create this one-off McLaren must have been manna from heaven.

Ferrari 575GT Zagato

Wed, 03 May 2006

Zagato recently unveiled their bespoke Ferrari 575GTZ at Villa d'Este Concours d'Elegance in Italy. Zagato, based in nearby Milan, was commissioned by Japanese collector Yoshiyuki Hayashi to create a new body for his 575M in the style of the 250GTZ Berlinetta. Despite the same underpinnings as the 575M the whole car has been remodelled, striking a balance between its Fifties forebear and more contemporary Ferraris.
