Mercruiser Seawater Raw Water Pump Stainless Steel Wear Plate (2 FULL KITs)

Don't spend up to $600 on a new pump because your cover plate housing has been grooved. For a fraction of the price you buy our STAINLESS STEEL wear plate kit! It will solve your cavitation and overheat issues due to a worn cover plate housing on the Mercruiser bronze pumps.

Does your boat overheat and set off the alarm due to low water pressure? Even after replacing your impeller? Then it's probably due to the seawater pump cover having been scored by the impeller thus causing "pump cavitation".

Tested and proven to stop low water pressure alarms on the 496 mags, 8.1, and 350 mag pumps # 46-862914T10 or 46-862914T12. This kit will work on any of the 2009 and prior pumps. We have sold several hundred kits & have been making these for nearly 6 years with customers in Holland, Australia, Hungary, Czech Republic, South Africa just to mention a few.

This dual kit comes with: (4) CNC cut stainless steel wear-plates (2 inner & 2 outer), installation instructions and 2 tubes of Permatex 22071 sealant.

SHIPS FOR FREE TO LOWER 48 STATES! (Express Mail available at checkout for additional cost)

Note! The new 2010 pumps have wear plates but cannot be backfitted.

Manufacturer's suggested retail price USD $139.99 (each)

I own the patent on this item & you will not find anyone else that makes or sells these wearplates....

Here is an email I received from a satisfied customer a few years ago:

Dennis,
Thank you so much! It did arrive and we installed it just last night. The boat runs like new! You're a genius. Did you invent this due to your own bad experience with that type of waterpump or did someone come to you with a problem?
My friends were amazed and all had that same question. I wish you luck and great fortune with your invention!

A very grateful customer.

180,000 'lied over motor insurance'

Wed, 17 Sep 2014

NEARLY 3,500 cases of motorists lying on their applications for insurance or deliberately leaving relevant information off them are being uncovered by insurers each week, new figures reveal. Some 180,675 attempts to make fraudulent applications for motor insurance as people tried to get cheaper cover than they were entitled to were detected last year, equating to around 3,475 incidents a week, according to data released by the Association of British Insurers (ABI). These claims were exposed as lies by the insurer either at the point when the person applied for a policy, or after they had obtained cover and had gone on to make a claim.

Congestion charge to rise by 15%

Thu, 29 May 2014

THE LONDON congestion charge is to rise from £10 a day to £11.50; a sudden 15% increase. The increase, the first since 2011, will take effect from June 16, Transport for London (TfL) has said, although the rate for those on the auto-pay system, and also for fleet customers, will be £10.50 per day. TfL said that customer improvements will be introduced next year, including direct debit payments for auto pay customers, online discount applications, and easier NHS patients and staff reimbursement.

Autoweek in review: What you may have missed

At the start of the week, our own Dutch Mandel offered his take on the best and worst of the automotive Super Bowl XLVI commercials. Check out his column here, and see the Super Bowl commercials for yourself at shopautoweek.com. One of the more popular Super Bowl ads came courtesy of Chevrolet and the indie band OK Go.
