Up for sale are these Generation 5 ballasts by Matsushita Electric Works.  I bought these for my 05 STI, but never installed them.  I’m not sure what all year, make and models these ballasts will fit.  They typically are found in many OEM applications such as Subaru, Nissan, and Infiniti. These perfectly compliment many of those OEM applications since they can be bolted onto the bottom of the lamp for an ultra OEM function and appearance.  This newest generation ballast comes in a black shell with integrated heat sinks to ensure longevity. They come sold in brand new condition which is steal compared to what the dealerships charge for this same exact ballast setup.  Panasonic and Matsushita are the same company.  This auction includes 2 New Matsushita Gen 5 ballasts, 2 New Igniter Wiring and 2 New Power Input sockets.  Message me if you have any questions.

Toyota RAV4 EV: Powered by Tesla – the tease

Thu, 11 Nov 2010

Toyota RAV4 Powered by Tesla - the tease Back in May we reported that Toyota had fished down the back of the sofa for some loose change (£35 million – two days profits) and had thrown it in the general direction of Tesla. As part of the deal Tesla were to utilise the Toyota facility in Fremont, which stands empty but used to build Corollas and Tacomas. Which all seemed quite odd.

New Land Rover Defender – Project Icon

Sat, 26 Sep 2009

Land Rover are planning a new Defender to launch in 2012 As always, the Defender is going to be the traditional Land Rover as – unlike the rest of the Land Rover Range which is moving over to aluminium platforms – the new Defender will be based on the existing – and very capable – current model Discovery platform. The use of the T5, twin rail steel chassis from the Discovery is vital if the Defender is to continue to offer the range of body styles currently available – including hard and soft tops – which make the Defender the versatile work horse it is. But the Defender will still be going on a diet and will be a lighter car than the current Model.
