Chevy Universal Bowtie Wrap ----Please Read Before Purchasing---- Included- (2) 11" x 5" Vinyl Sheets. (Not a precut shape) **Emblem not included** These are not precut because a vinyl sheet is easier to apply than a precut decal. A precut decal requires perfect alignment, while a sheet allows you trim off the excess vinyl. (Allowing more room for error). This is a Do It yourself Universal Bowtie Wrap. It is ideal for adding a carbon fiber appearance to the front and back of your Chevy emblems. Using vinyl allows the emblem to be customized without permanently changing it. The Vinyl used is high quality and rated for outdoor use. These vinyl sheets fit most Chevy vehicles, but it is up to the buyer to determine that the size of their emblem will fit. Please fully understand what you are buying before purchasing this item. Installation (Recommended installation weather is to be above 50 degrees and not to be in direct sun light.) 1. Thoroughly clean emblem surface with soapy water. Followed up by rubbing alcohol with a lint free cloth 2. Carefully remove vinyl from white backing paper. 3. Hold the vinyl up to the emblem without making contact with it. Ensure that you have the sheet centered with enough excess on all sides of the emblem 4. Once satisfied with alignment, start applying the emblem from the center to the outside. It is important to take your time with this part, lifting and reapplying the vinyl if there are any large air bubbles. (A credit card can be used as a squeegee when applying the vinyl. 5. Once the vinyl is applied, work the vinyl into all corners of the emblem. This should give you a clean outline of the bowtie emblem. 6. Carefully follow the outline of the emblem with an x-acto knife or razor blade. Remove excess vinyl from the outside of the emblem. 7. If bubbles exist and do not dissipate within a couple of days, they can be popped with a needle/pin |

Audi working with Mazda on Wankel for A1 e-Tron?
Sat, 11 Jun 2011The Audi A1 e-Tron could be getting a Mazda Wankel Last year at the Geneva Motor Show, Audi showed us another in its seemingly endless line of fantasy e-Tron cars. But instead of being a pointless supercar with a pile of batteries bolted underneath to wreck the handling with all their weight – for the three feet you can actually drive with your foot to the floor before you run out of juice – this e-Tron was a different beast altogether. Not only was the Geneva 2010 e-Tron a properly sensible city car – the Audi A1 - but it came with a range extender so you could actually use this Audi A1 e-Tron beyond the confines of its electric charge.
Lada XRAY Concept – it’s the Lada Evoque
Thu, 30 Aug 2012Lada has revealed an appealing looking compact SUV concept at the Moscow Motor Show – the Lada XRAY Concept For those of us who grew up on Lada skips – and even for younger readers who only really know Lada for the Niva 4×4 or the Granta – the appearance of a good-looking Lada Concept - the Lada XRAY – at the Moscow Motor Show is a bit of a surprise. But if we look at who’s behind the XRAY, perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised. Steve Mattin, formerly with Mercedes and Volvo, penned the new Lada, and a very convincing job he’s done.
