 Chevy Universal Bowtie Wrap

Included- (2) 9-3/8" by 4" Vinyl Sheets. (Not a precut shape) **Emblem not included** These are not precut because a vinyl sheet is easier to apply than a precut decal. A precut decal requires perfect alignment, while a sheet allows you trim off the excess vinyl. (Allowing more room for error).

This is a Do It yourself Universal Bowtie Wrap.  It is ideal for personalizing  the front and back of your Chevy emblems. Using vinyl allows the emblem to be customized without permanently painting it. The Vinyl used is high quality and rated for outdoor use. These vinyl sheets fit most Chevy vehicles, but it is up to the buyer to determine that the size of their emblem will fit.   Please fully understand what you are buying before purchasing this item. Feel free to ask questions.

**Choose Your COLOR**

Colors Available- Black, Red, Yellow, White,Pink

** Specify color choice in "add message" section during checkout or for Mobile/APP users, send us a message. Otherwise, Black will be sent.**

Installation

(Recommended installation weather is to be above 50 degrees and not to be in direct sun light.)

1. Thoroughly clean emblem surface with soapy water.  Followed up by rubbing alcohol with a lint free cloth

2.  Carefully remove vinyl from white backing paper.

3. Hold the vinyl up to the emblem without making contact with it. Ensure that you have the sheet centered with enough excess on all sides of the emblem

4. Once satisfied with alignment, start applying the emblem from the center to the outside. It is important to take your time with this part, lifting and reapplying the vinyl if there are any large air bubbles. (A credit card can be used as a squeegee when applying the vinyl.

5. Once the vinyl is applied, work the vinyl into all corners of the emblem. This should give you a clean outline of the bowtie emblem.

6. Carefully follow the outline of the emblem with an x-acto knife or razor blade. Remove excess vinyl from the outside of the emblem.

7. If bubbles exist and do not dissipate within a couple of days, they can be popped with a needle/pin

Porsche 911 50 Years Edition celebrates the 911′s half century

Tue, 04 Jun 2013

The Porsche 911 50 Years Edition (pictured) celebrates half a century of the 911 If you’d guessed how much the Porsche 911 would change in the coming years when it was first launched in 1963, there’s a pretty strong chance you’d have decided the shape would change out of all recognition and the engine would move from the back to the front. But you’d have been wrong. The Porsche 911, perhaps more than any other car ever made, has evolved over its 50 years of life instead of being replaced by a new and ‘better’ car.

Sam Foose-built Alfa Romeo Carabo clone for sale

Wed, 08 Feb 2012

If Helen of Troy's face launched a thousand ships, Marcello Gandini's Alfa Romeo Carabo concept from 1968 most certainly launched two decades' worth of wedgy, mid-engine machines, a number of them penned by Gandini himself during his tenure at Bertone. This car, however, is not that car. This one was built in California, by legendary car builder (and father of Chip) Sam Foose back in 1972.

Wed, 14 Nov 2012

Suzuki has given their evergreen pocket SUV – the Suzuki Jimny – a facelift for 2013, but prices still start at £11,995. Suzuki has been building the little Jimny SUV – in one form or another – since 1970, and the current Jimny has been with us since 1998. But despite the Jimny being from another age, Suzuki aren’t giving up on it yet and have managed to churn out a facelift for 2013.
