(2) Sunstar 50 tooth chain sprockets..they were in an auction box I acquired recently, I have no use for them, and can't tell you what bike and/or ATV they were culled from..magnet does not stick to them so I presume they are constructed of some sort of aluminum ally, but possibly the plating is too thick to allow the steel to attract a magnet?

SRT introduced a limited run of Anodized Carbon Special Edition packages for the 640-hp Viper GTS at the Los Angeles Auto Show on Wednesday. The metallic, matte-gray exterior is being used by Chrysler for the first time on this car. “We’ve been waiting for the right time to use this new color at the Chrysler Group, and, as the flagship for the SRT brand, the Viper is the perfect vehicle to showcase this combination of finishes and details to create such a unique look,” said Ralph Gilles, president and CEO of SRT.

BMW M550d xDrive arriving March 2012 (M5 pictured) We’ve been talking about the BMW triple-turbo diesel for a long time. As far back as Spring 2009 we reported BMW were working on a triple-turbo diesel, which we expected to see the light of day first in the BMW X5. It took more than two years for BMW to catch up with our story on the triple-turbo diesel, but we finally had BMW man  Brian Watts confirming the new diesel, but that it would turn up as the M550d.

Ford tests electric-vehicle sounds on Facebook

Sure, if it were up to us, every car would sound like a Lamborghini Aventador or a McLaren Formula One race car. And while those specific options aren't available (yet),Ford is using its Facebook page to let fans vote on sounds to be made by the electric Focus. Since EVs are so quiet, Ford needs to give the Focus electric some sound for safety's sake--to draw the attention of people who are blind people, those using cell phones or iPods and even for animals.
