Cars Land to open on June 15 at Disney's California Adventure

Pixar's animated movie Cars will come to life on June 15 when Disney's California Adventure opens a real-life version of the Western desert road town of Radiator Springs. The 12-acre attraction will feature everything from a Flo's Drive-In and a Cozy Cone to a high-speed "Radiator Springs Racers" ride with six-seat, open-topped race cars fashioned after your favorite Cars characters. The race cars operate on a track similar to the one used for the General Motors proving-ground attraction at Disney's Epcot Center in Florida.

Skoda Octavia vRS gets a facelift and a titivate to bring it in line with the rest of the range In keeping with the changes made to the rest of the Octavia range late last year, Skoda has now rolled out the new look for the vRS (and the Scout) to bring the family looks to the whole range. Renault replaces Scenic with Renault Scenic XMOD Crossover

The Renault Scenic is no more, to be replaced by a rufty-tufty crossover with a raised ride height called the Renault Scenic XMOD. But Renault think they have the answer to the problem and are following the lead of partner Nissan – who junked their mainstream cars and replaced them with crossovers (step forward the Qashqai and Juke) – by dumping the Scenic andĀ replacingĀ it with the Scenic XMOD. The Renault Scenic XMOD isn’t a new car, but the Scenic with a facelift, raised ride height, butch bolt on bits and a nod to 4WD with a new Grip Xtend Traction control system.
