Volvo S40 Review & Road Test: Volvo S40 SE DRIVe Start/Stop (2011) Part 2
Thu, 17 Mar 2011Volvo S40 DRIVe Interior - a decent place to be As already noted, the Volvo S40 DRIVe is pretty much a Ford Focus under the skin, which is a more than decent starting point. The Focus has a very good set of road manners and the ability to produce an enjoyable drive. Yet somehow the S40 conspires to be not quite as good as the Focus; much more average than you’d expect when you start to push on.
Citroen DS3 Cabrio DStyle by Benefit is the latest DS 3 Special Edition – costs £18,745
Fri, 01 Aug 2014The Citroen DS3 Cabrio DStyle by Benefit We have to assume that Citroen see the DS3 Cabrio as a proper ‘Girly’ car as they’ve teamed up with Benefit Cosmetics to create a Special edition DS3 Cabrio inspired by their Stay Flawless Primer - the Citroen DS3 Cabrio DStyle by Benefit. With that in mind, you won’t be shocked to learn that the DS3 Cabrio by Benefit is all about the looks, and there’s nothing new going on under the skin, just the VT1 120 1.6 litre petrol engine with a five-speed manual gearbox good for 0-62mph in 9.9 seconds. Those tweaks to the looks of the DS3 Cabrio include a Polar White paint job with a black fabric folding roof and Fuchsia Pink for the door mirrors and alloy centres, with Benefit’s ‘Gabbi’s Head’ logo on the B-Pillars and on a Fuchsia Pink badge at the back.
Mitsubishi launches world's first twin-clutch SUV
Mon, 31 Mar 2008By Mike Elwin First Official Pictures 31 March 2008 14:15 Mitsubishi will sell the world’s first SUV with a twin-clutch gearbox this autumn when it launches the Outlander Twin Clutch SST. Previously such systems have been the preserve of sports cars and performance-orientated hatchbacks, and definitely not off-roaders. CAR Online has tested the SST system in the new Evo X and been impressed by the speed and quality of the gearchange.
