Chrome still has a nice shine to it but you will find some some pits in the chrome here and there Inserts have no rips or tears but do show some weathering and dry rot. What I have up for bids here is a very neat and completely original vintage Attwood Brass Works boat step plate set, just pulled from a 1960s Silverline boat that we are parting out. This set would be perfect for the guy who is fixing up that vintage boat and looking for a model correct or period parts, or maybe for the who needs a vintage step plate or two for his vintage Silverline, Glastron, Garwood, Chris Craft, Century, Crosby, Starcraft, Aerocraft or other boat. .Either way for the no reserve opening bid of just $17.99 I think you will find this vintage set to be a great buy and find. It a great vintage step plate set that has that classic 1950s/60s boat look!. Now here's what you will get,

(4)Vintage (Attwood Brass Works #8006) brass with plated chrome and white boat step plates as shown above and below. Each plate is 2" x 8 3/8" in size and feature an all chrome mount, with all white center section. .

As noted this set was pulled from a 1960s Silverline Imperial, but I believe this set will fit other boats from this era along with other boat mfgs that used this style plate with there own center logo.

Ford Focus ST 2012 Well, we managed to get the colour pretty much spot on when we reported that Ford where taking the new Focus ST to the Paris Motor Show this year. Mind you, an orange ST is not a huge surprise. And, if you care, it’s called ‘Screaming Orange’.

The new Mercedes AMG GT (pictured) gets the new 503 bhp Twin-Turbo 4.0 litre V8 We’ve speculated that the new Mercedes AMG GT – and, for that matter, futures ’63′ AMGs – will get a new twin-turbo V8 to provide the power as Mercedes look to move away from the naturally aspirated 6.2 litre V8 in cars like the SLS. And this is it. A new 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 – the M178 engine – has been developed to replace the 6.2 litre V8 and, in initial tune, develops 503 bhp at 6250 rpm and 479lb/ft of torque from just 1750 rpm.

When BMW unveiled the Vision EfficientDynamics concept at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show, we wrote: "for our money, it's the first time a major carmaker has really attempted to communicate ‘green' technology in an aesthetic sense." Fast-forward five years and we've swapped the show halls of the IAA for a beauty spot on the north-west coast of Scotland. And, while the car's name has changed to i8, our sentiment towards this genre- and era-defining car remains. Admittedly the production car's design execution hasn't received the universal praise of its concept forebears, but, on a remote outpost of the British Isles, a Protonic Blue i8 couldn't look more exotic.
