Charlotte, North Carolina, United States
Condition:Used Brand:Nardi

This is an OEM Nardi Teardrop wood knob from a second generation Miata MX-5. This knob was ONLY available on the 2000SE, 2001SE, and as a very rare dealer package/accessory.

Since the 00SE & 01SE were all 6-speed, the 5-speed variant is basically unobtanium.

These weighted Nardi Teardrops have exceptional feel and heft, unlike the lightweight, top-heavy Nardi Evolution knob offered on earlier Miatas.

Also, unlike the aftermarket Nardi Prestige, these are a perfect fit with no set screw
. Fit is extremely snug - no movement, no rattles, feel is excellent. Fits all generations of the Miata MX-5, as well as other vehicles that use a
thread pitch of 10x1.25.

Cosmetically, the condition on this one is very good, with beautiful woodgrain. Pictures tell the story.

If you've wanted a Nardi Teardrop with the 5-speed grid, this will likely be your only shot for a long time
- don't miss this one!

Bentley EXP 9 F SUV – new photos & video

Fri, 06 Jul 2012

Following an appearance at Goodwood, Bentley has released new photos and video of the EXP 9 F SUV as its PR salvo continues. Bentley EXP 9 F – the Bentley SUV to be that might be more loved if Bentley gave it a real name – made a static appearance at last weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, following which Bentley has released some new photos and a new video to put their monster SUV back in the news. We did catch sight of the Bentley SUV at Goodwood – although it wasn’t especially high profile as it wasn’t blatting up the hillclimb, unlike Bentley’s other offerings from the new Continental GT Speed to the Bentley Blower – and it looked much the same as it did at Geneva.

Concept Car of the Week: Cadillac Voyage (1988)

Fri, 11 Jul 2014

Once a symbol of America's most luxurious automobiles, Cadillac's image had begun to wane by the mid-1980s, and not even the Pininfarina-designed and built two-seater Allante was enough to excavate the brand's long gone leadership. In an effort to take Cadillac onto the global stage, engineers and the team of designers led by Chuck Jordan began working on the Voyage concept, a rolling laboratory with visionary styling and innovative technology. It was unveiled in 1988 at a technological exhibition in New York thus highlighting that rather than a stylist's dream come true, it was a very serious study towards aerodynamic, performance, handling, comfort and efficiency in an age when automated superhighways would allow fast, safe inter-State travel.
