Up for auction is a nice used set of 1/4 glass / side windows for the 1955, 1956 and 1957 Chevrolet 4 door passenger cars. As the pictures show, they are in really nice shape. I see no discoloration or bubbling around the edges of the glass. They are a little dirty from being stored and will need to be cleaned. They are still in there original gaskets! They may fit Pontiacs too but do your homework to be sure! Please ask any and all questions you may have. Please check my other auctions for the 1/4 window trim. Thank you. Caterham Supersport R extends Caterham 7 range
Sat, 10 Nov 2012Caterham has added the Supersport R to its range of ’7′ models with a 2.0 litre Duratec Ford engine delivering 180bhp. In the meantime, Caterham’s core road car business is the old Lotus 7 range of Caterhams, so it makes sense to keep that more appealing and relevant until new cars start to arrive, so we get the Caterham Supersport R as an addition to the range to slot in between the Supersport and the Superlight models. The Supersport R gets a Ford Duratec 2.0 litre engine which produces 180bhp, which doesn’t sound a huge amount, but when you consider the Supersport R weighs in at just 535kg it starts to look plenty.

Previously known as M1, the 600bhp supercar is now called M8 internally, and is being lined up as the flagship car to mark BMW’s 100th birthday in 2016. M division boss Friedrich Nitschke has proposed that the M8 shares the exotic carbonfibre and aluminium underpinnings of the i8 plug-in hybrid due in 2014.
