S-Max Fuel Pressure Regulator with Dual -6 AN Port

  • Universal Boost Dependent Fuel Pressure Regulator
  • E85 Compatible
  • For all return style fuel systems with 2 fuel lines. Can also be used as a single line.
  • Can also be used to convert a single /dead head system to to a dual system
  • Pressure Rate adjustable
  • 1:1 Rate with  Boost  / Vacuum reference port
  • Made from billet aluminum
  • Dual -6 ORB/AN Feed Ports (Can be used for dual rail, plugged, or for a pressure gauge)
  • -6 ORB/ AN Return Port

S-Max's Fuel Pressure regulators are built from billet aluminum and are safe for use with alternative fuels like E85. The -6 AN model is geared towards high performance EFI systems and features two -6 AN/ORB inlet ports and a single -6 AN/ORB return. It has a standard 1:1 rising rate.

You needed something to control fuel pressure with reference to boost.  Basically a boost-dependent fuel pressure regulator (FPR) takes the place of the OEM FPR, but is adjustable and can be referenced to a pressurized manifold as opposed to a vacuum-0psi manifold pressure (naturally aspirated).  This is a must have item for turbo applications. This FPR must be connected to the rail and return line with separate lines or hoses.

Fittings are sold separately

Nissan Qashqai: UK 2011 changes

Mon, 09 Aug 2010

The Nissan Qashqai n-tec 2011 with its posh new alloys We reported last week on the changes revealed for the 2011 Nissan Qashqai in Japan (the Nissan Dualis), and speculated that some of these, and perhaps others, would spill over to the Nissan Qashqai in the UK and Europe. So it was no huge surprise to get an email from Nissan this morning detailing changes to the Qashqai for 2011 in the UK. Stop/Start turns up as an option for the first time on the 1.6 litre petrol Qashqais (for £200) which, if you can get in to the habit of sticking the car in neutral and foot off the clutch every time you grind to a halt in traffic, can yield decent fuel savings.
