Lincoln MKX concept revealed ahead of Beijing auto show
Mon, 21 Apr 2014Lincoln has pulled the covers off its new MKX crossover concept, which is set for a global debut at the upcoming Beijing auto show. Following on the heels of the MKZ sedan and the 2015 MKC crossover, the redesigned MKX will be the third of four vehicles Lincoln says it will introduce by 2016 (the restyled Navigator doesn't count, apparently). Larger than the compact MKC, the MKX concept wears many of its smaller sibling's styling cues -- from the new split Lincoln grille to the lightly sculpted beltline to the upturned full-width taillights.
Honda To Debut Sporty Concepts At Festival Of Speed
Wed, 21 May 2014VISITORS to this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed in June will be able to get up close and personal with two racy concept cars from Honda. The Japanese firm is using the popular event to showcase its forthcoming Civic Type R hot hatch and second-generation NSX supercar ahead of a 2015 launch programme. As well as getting up close with the new concepts, visitors will get the chance to race them – with the Honda stand turned into a miniature race track for budding drivers to compete with special-edition remote control models.
Lincoln MKZ concept
Wed, 18 Jan 2012The Lincoln MKZ concept previews not only the 2012 production MKZ model, but also Lincoln's future design direction. Lincoln Design Director, Max Wolff explains: “Our movement as a brand is toward something we call elegant simplicity. It’s something warmer and more restrained, which is moving away from complex designs and traditional luxury.” This is reflected in the Cognac hue of the show car.
