66-67 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 Factory Original Radiator Shroud on 2040-parts.com

66-67 OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS 442 FACTORY ORIGINAL RADIATOR SHROUD. Not very many 442’s or Cutlass had these because they were only installed on cars if either the heavy duty cooling option, or the Air Conditioning option, was ordered on the car. The one we have was actually removed from a 442 many years ago, and is still in remarkably good condition. There is no damage and no cut outs, there is one small half inch chip out of the plastic which will never be seen when on car because its directly under the radiator top plate just up against the radiator at the very top. This shroud was a very important component in the H.D. cooling system designed by Oldsmobile engineers to help protect the high performance engines. Especially if they were run at high RPM. Today, the 66-67 442 are so rare and valuable that its certainly a good idea to try and protect it from running hot. No better way to do this than with factory OEM Oldsmobile parts.

Ford puts Volvo up for sale
Mon, 01 Dec 2008Having spent most of the last twenty years carefully building up a portfolio of Prestige European car makers, including Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin and Volvo, the last of these, Volvo, has now been put up for sale by Ford. This hardly comes as a surprise when you see the precarious state of Ford. It’s busy going cap-in-hand to the US government looking for a bail out, and selling off Volvo could add several hundred million pounds to its decimated balance sheet.
