You are bidding on a used DISTRIBUTOR removed from a 1973 Mercedes 280 Sedan. This is an OEM Unit made by Bosch and the Part Number is 0 231 311 001 . Please make sure that the Unit you are replacing has exactly the same part number or is otherwise fully compatible. In addition to the Distributor you also will be getting 1) A complete Set of OEM  Ignition Wires made by BERU of West Germany (yes West Germany so these wires are rather old and should probably be replaced) 2) An OEM Distributor Cap made by Bosch in Very Good condition and 4) A Good Distributor Rotor. Only the Distributor is Guaranteed to be fully functional. None of the other Electrical components could be tested and are sold As Is. Also the points look Good and have considerable life left on them. This Unit will fit Mercedes 280 Sedans built from 1972 through 1976. In fact, the Distributor should be compatible with any Mercedes that employs a M110 2.8L Engine and that uses a Carburetor.
