This auction is for one (1) metal script emblem-used.

Taken from a 1973 Ford LTD, but I believe this was used on other model years as well. Casting number on the back side is D3AB-65517A56-AC.

Condition is about average for it's age. Looks decent enough, but has some very light scratches on the face. The mounting pins are intact, and there's 2 of the tiny steel mounting clips still on it.

Not for a concours resto, but should be perfectly usable to replace a missing, broken, or severely corroded original.

Ferrari P4/5 designer Castriota heads to Saab

Jason Castriota, the noted designer who created the Ferrari P4/5 and the Maserati GranTurismo, is taking his talents to Saab. He will be in charge of design for the Swedish automaker as it looks to develop a new image after being sold by former parent General Motors, Bloomberg News reports. Castriota will work on developing an upscale model of the 9-3 and will try to bolster Saab to better compete with BMW and Audi.

McLaren delivered its first P1 supercar on Monday, days after British TV show “Top Gear” was spotted testing the vehicle. The new UK-based owner picked up the Volcano yellow and carbon fiber P1 at the company's headquarters in Woking, England. McLaren also confirmed the insane specs we were all hoping for.
