 You are buying a used electric smog/air pump removed from various 93-97 LT1 Camaros and Firebirds.  This is a used OEM pump, and everything is tested.  These pumps have the internal electric valve (single 3 wire connector).  These can be used as a replacement for a damaged smog pump (using the OEM single 3 wire connector), or they can be used as an electric vacuum pump to remove crankcase pressure in a high performance application. 

These are OEM replacements for the following:

93, 94, 95, 96, 97 Camaro Z28 with an LT1 and a single 3 wire connector
93, 94, 95, 96, 97 Firebird Formula, Trans Am with an LT1 and a single 3 wire connector

Longest ever period of UK new car sales growth

The SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders) has released the new car registration data for May 2014, and revealed that the UK new car market is officially experiencing its longest period of growth since records began. Sales in May were up 7.7% compared to 2013 – making it the 27th consecutive month that figures have increased. A grand total of 194,032 new cars registered also represents the most units sold in May since 2004.

No sooner do we learn that CPP has bought Spyker Cars (well, strictly speaking it’s CPP Global Holdings Ltd who are hoovering up with Vladimir Antonov’s money) than we discover CPP has also acquired Bowler Offroad. For the uninitiated, Bowler are the makers of bonkers offroad vehicles that can probably be best described as Land Rover Supercars.
