We'll spare you the hyperbole here, but stay tuned for a Design Review of the Munich-based automaker's new range topping vehicle once we've seen the car in the metal in Paris. The new boss is Tom LaSorda, the former top man at Chrysler pre-bankruptcy (Fisker)Tuesday 28 February 2012• General Motors is in talks to buy a 5% to 7% stake in PSA Peugeot Citroen, according to reports by news agencies Bloomberg and Reuters.

A US version of the Vauxhall Vectra – the Saturn Aura – has won North American Car of the Year. The car derided by TV presenter Clarkson won the award, following a vote by 49 enlightened motoring hacks.
