Almost New/very Slightly Used Mustang Power Steering Cylinder! on 2040-parts.com

Offered here is an almost new/slightly used Mustang power steering cylinder.  I bought it off of Ebay as fitting a 63 Mercury Meteor, but it does not.  It's for a Mustang, just like all of the other ones listed here.  The Mustang has a narrower track than the Meteor, and so this cylinder makes it so the Mercury Meteor will nor turn all the way to the right, and also hunts all over the road.  I had a very nice time banging apart the steering parts taking the old one out, getting covered with power steering fluid and solidified crud.  It then took hours to get this one in, with more solidified crud and power steering fluid everywhere, because the hoses are at a different angle, and are almost impossible to get started in the holes.  After all of that, the darn car would not turn right.  And went all over the road.  After a few months and hours spent trying to figure out the problem, and even more money, I got the right one, and it works great!  Now I have this one.  It was on the car for about 6 months, but I rarely drove it, because it went all over he road, and would not turn right. I'd guess it has less than a hundred miles on it. You might want to repaint it. All of this took so long that I have no idea where I got it from, etc. Works just fine if it's on the correct car, and its a lot cheaper than the other ones.  Note- THIS WILL NOT WORK ON A MERCURY METEOR NOR A FORD FAIRLANE!!!!!
