A freshly overhauled Continental C-85-12 aircraft engine with 0 time since overhaul. I will set it up for a pull starter or a Skytec starter. You can use your magnetos, alternator or generator and carburetor or I can sell you new or overhauled ones at my actual cost plus 5%, with this sale. (I find many people have recent mags, generator, starter and carburetor.)  This is an exchange sale. A $3000  core charge will be collected if you want to send your engine after installing the exchange one, or you can send yours in for exchange at the winning bid price and avoid the core charge. (Your crankshaft and gears have to be good to get the full core value)  If it's time for overhaul, this is a way to get back in the air right away with a quality engine.

The picture shown is of another of the many engines I have done. I also have O-200's and can modify C-85's with O-200 crankshaft, pistons and rods. Contact me thru "ask seller a question" if you have any questions and give me your contact information so I can get back to you with answers.

The government posted the rules today for the program, designed to lift U.S. light-vehicle sales from 27-year lows.

Show Review: Tokyo Concours D’Elegance

Wed, 28 Nov 2007

Tokyo has hosted the first of what it hopes will become the Japanese equivalent of America's Pebble Beach and Italy's Villa D'Este. Held at the plush Tokyo Midtown shopping mall/commercial complex, the Tokyo Concours D'Elegance was initiated by enthusiast Paul Goldsmith and coincided with the first public days of the Tokyo Motor Show - though regrettably also with a typhoon, forcing organisers to cover the cars on the lawns, which were ultimately closed due to flooding. Fortunately, the exhibition had been split between in- and outdoors, and while the weather lashed out at those braving the winds, there were still some interesting displays for those wishing to remain dry.

Former I.DE.A styling manger, Umberto Palermo, unveiled his Victoria concept at the 2012 Qatar motor show. Responsible for both the institute's ERA and Sofia concepts, Palermo has now set up his own design consultancy, UP Design. The Vittoria concept has classical front-engined, rear-wheel drive proportions with a long hood and cab rearward layout.
