" Wheel Trim Ring Instruction Sheet" for Chevrolet Cars That Were Equipped With The Old Style Rallye Wheels. These sheets were to be placed in the glove compartment, by the dealer, of new Chevrolet Cars equipped with Rallye Wheels. These sheets are dated 9-23-66 and are correct for the Rallye Wheels that debut in 1967 and used by Chevrolet for several years.  Part No. 3913832. To the best of my knowledge the instruction sheet dated 9-23-66 were the only ones ever produced and were used throughout the years that the trim rings had four retention clips. You do not see these sheets very often. This is a great item to display, at car shows, with your other literature. At some car show the judges look for this sheet as part of the glove box literature. It is also a neat piece to have for your cruiser. The sheet is an exact reproduction.  Sheet looks better in person than in the picture. Print and pictures are much brighter than the Ebay Picture shows.  Shipping is free within the continental US. This is a no reserve auction. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.

2014 Porsche Cayman gets a performance-testing iPhone app

Wed, 08 May 2013

To promote the new 2014 Cayman, Porsche has cooked up an iPhone app called “Cayman Code of the Curve.” You're probably already rolling your eyes at the prospect of another automaker app that is little more than a downloadable advertisement, but this seems to be something different -- the app is designed to record your driving performance in real-time and then share results with friends. Porsche enthusiast site flatsixes.com has an exclusive first look at the app, which is still in development but is reported to be coming “soon.” Based on preliminary screenshots provided by Porsche, the app instructs users to set up a variety of courses -- cone slalom, autocross and reaction-time challenge courses are shown -- then uses the iPhone's internal accelerometer and GPS receiver to track and record your performance. You'll also be able to use the app's “record your curve” function to share favorite drives with friends on Facebook.

Perhaps there’ll be a second chapter in the P1 story; 375 hand-built cars have already sold out to wealthy enthusiasts.

Audi A6 facelift (2008): first official pictures

Tue, 12 Aug 2008

By Ben Whitworth First Official Pictures 12 August 2008 00:01 This is the new Audi A6. Despite a seemingly endless flow of new metal over the last 12 months, Audi has found time to give its 5-series, E-Class and XF rival a bit of a spit and polish, enhancing the saloon and estate line-up with new petrol and diesel engines, tweaked interior and exterior styling and enhanced safety equipment. The revised line-up arrives here in October, with the saloon priced at £24,800, and the Avant estate commanding a £1570 premium over the equivalent four-door model.
