Aston Martin Rapide Bertone (2013) first pictures

Mon, 25 Feb 2013

Bertone is celebrating 60 years of collaboration with Aston Martin with this one-off Rapide shooting brake. The Rapide Bertone keeps the regular Rapide's 2+2 seating configuration, but offers rear passengers more headroom and a taller boot. It's been comissioned by a wealthy Aston Martin collector, who helped design the final look of the car as well as the choice of paint and upholstery colours.

Alfa Romeo Mito GTA (2009): first official picture

Mon, 23 Feb 2009

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 23 February 2009 09:19 Alfa Romeo has managed to squeeze a remarkable 240bhp from 1742cc in its new Mito GTA concept car. It's the hot hatch version of the Mito supermini and will form the centrepiece of the Alfa stand at next week's 2009 Geneva motor show. This is the first GTA since the musclebound 147. GTA stands for gran turismo alleggerito  – and this pocket rocket version of the Mito has indeed been lightened and toughened up to give it some serious performance.

Subaru BRZ tS is the ‘Sporty’ BRZ STI with no more go

Tue, 20 Aug 2013

Subaru BRZ tS (pictured) more show – no more go When we ran the tease photo for what appeared to be the Subaru BRZ STI, we did hope this would be the BRZ with more power. After all, STI (Subaru Tecnica International) is the go faster bit of Subaru so it seemed to be pointing in the right direction, a direction lovers of the BRZ (and its sibling, the Toyota GT86) have been hoping for since it arrived – one with more power. But this isn’t the Subaru equivalent of a BMW M or a Mercedes AMG, its more the equivalent of BMW Performance Parts, where Subaru’s STI division have kitted out a standard car with bolt on modifications and called it the Subaru BRZ tS.
