Land Rover: A year of Range Rover Evoque production and 80,000 sales
Thu, 05 Jul 2012Land Rover is celebrating a year of Range Rover Evoque production and sales of 80,000 Evoques. The Range Rover Evoque continues to astonish with its sales performance and a seemingly unquenchable thirst from buyers to grab as many as Land Rover can build, despite its distinctly premium price structure. But that’s because Land Rover has managed to be right on the Zeitgeist with the Evoque, which conspires to offer a properly premium feel in a smaller package with no loss of ability compared to the full size Range Rover, so even car buyers with deep pockets can feel they’re being sane when they scratch their car buying itch and yet have no real compromise in ability or image.
Police authorities turning a blind eye to lane hoggers
Thu, 16 Jan 2014REX Features MSN Cars can exclusively reveal that just 13 drivers have been fined for lane hogging on the M25 since new laws were introduced last year – while thousands are still penalised for breaking the speed limit. The news comes following a freedom of information request carried out by MSN to the six police authorities covering London’s orbital motorway, which according to the Department for Transport carries 153,000 vehicles a day. Kia Cee'd
Thu, 12 Jan 2012Despite the Detroit Auto Show still being in full swing, Kia has given a first look at the all-new Cee'd, set to debut at Geneva in March. Very little detail about the second-generation Cee'd has been released, but externally the car adopts Peter Schreyer's tiger-inspired grille and high-set, wrap-around headlamps. The chrome detailing across the DRG and around the DLO are said to give the car a more premium appearance.
