As pictured, DIGITAL ALLY DVM 500 POLICE PATROL CAR CAMERA, in excellent used condition.  

PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING. I HAVE GATHERED ENOUGH INFORMATION ABOUT THE UNIT BUT IN NO WAY AM I AN EXPERT.

What we have here is THE DVM 500 police vehicle camera. Digital Ally produces superior police cameras for police and the private sector. Unit may be installed in private or business vehicles as well.    

DVM 500 only adds 2 pieces of equipment in front compartment of vehicle. The rear view mirror camera replaces the factory mirror. The front camera is the second piece.  

The mirror has built in video display on left side while still using it as a rear view mirror. Has rear view camera to capture occupants in vehicle. It records in black and white. You can switch to front color camera to record driving. 

Rear view mirror records video on a 4G compact flash card. It is locked in by an access door.  It is removed with the special key that is supplied.

Unit comes with wiring and an interface box so that you may wire unit to activate by turning on lights and sirens, or at an exceeded speed limit. It can be hooked up to show when you applied brakes, turn signals and reverse. It can be hooked up to specific radar units. It has many features to offer. 

Unit will also come with a wireless mic and cradle. NO CHARGING CABLE IS INCLUDED.  MIC IS NOT CHARGED SO UNABLE TO TEST IT. YOU MAY TURN VIDEO ON FROM OUTSIDE VEHICLE WITH IT.  

YOU MAY ADD A GPS ANTENNA IF YOU CHOOSE TO. GPS ANTENNA CAN MARK LOCATION ON VIDEO DURING PURSUIT.  ALSO UNIT MAY ACCEPT ADDITIONAL REAR CAMERAS IF YOU CHOOSE TO. THE GPS PLASTIC COVER WAS DAMAGED DURING DISASSEMBLY FROM VEHICLE. TAPED OVER WITH TAPE, PLEASE VIEW PHOTO.

General Motors' future green-car efforts will focus on plug-in hybrids and electric vehicles rather than conventional hybrid powertrains, product chief Mary Barra said Wednesday. Barra said GM has narrowed its future development emphasis in an effort to defend its leadership position attained with the Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid.
